The Pirates announced today that closer Joel Hanrahan has been placed on the Bereavement List due to the passing of his grandmother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joel and his family in this time.
Daniel McCutchen has been recalled from AAA to take his spot. Kristy Robinson reports that Hanrahan is expected to return to the team on Sunday.
