Thursday Trade Tree – Stan Belinda

A solid closer for a few years, Stan Belinda is best known for being on the mound when the Bucs lost game seven of the 1992 NLCS. (click to embiggen)

The team got some good mileage from Jon Lieber before he was inexplicably flipped for Brant Brown (Thank you, Cam Bonifay!) Miceli had the affectionate nickname “Maalox” for the uneasy feeling felt by fans when he was called in to pitch.

Got another suggestion? I’d love to hear it!
